Is this the official WhatsApp?

Oasistech Connect is made by O Technologies in Dar es Salaam. Your number connects through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform, the same system large companies use, and Meta reviews every template before it can be sent.

Can I still use the number in the WhatsApp app on my phone?

No. A connected number moves to the WhatsApp Business Platform and stops working in the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. Most businesses use a separate number for this.

What does it cost?

Meta charges for some messages, mainly templates that start a conversation, and bills the payment method on your WhatsApp Business account directly. Replies to a customer within 24 hours of their message are free from Meta. For Oasistech Connect plans, write to info@oasistech.co.tz.

Do my customers need to install anything?

No. They keep using WhatsApp as they do today. Your messages arrive in their normal chat with your business name.

What is a template?

A message Meta approves in advance, such as an order update or an appointment reminder. WhatsApp requires one when you contact a customer first, or more than 24 hours after their last message. You can create templates inside Oasistech Connect.

Who can see my messages?

Only people who log in to your business account, and O Technologies staff when needed to keep the service running. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
